Parkdale/Mt Hood
Parkdale is a small town located in the Hood River Valley of Oregon. Founded in 1910 by David Eccles and R. J. McIsaac, Parkdale originally served as a terminus for the Mount Hood Railroad.
The town is situated at the base of Mount Hood, and its name is derived from the nearby National Park. Today, Parkdale is a popular destination for visitors to the Mt. Hood National Forest, and its picturesque setting makes it a popular location for photographers and outdoor enthusiasts.
